This year's Motor Transport Awards will be held on 13th July in London and for the fourth year running Bandvulc is sponsoring the Partnership Award. The MT Awards is the UK transport industry's networking event of the year and celebrates innovation, outstanding service, efficiency and quality.
As winner of last year's Low Carbon and Efficiency Award, Bandvulc will once again be attending the event accompanied by a number of guests and Patrick O'Connell, MD, will also be on the panel of judges. The panel will be looking for genuine partnerships between operators and their clients, with two or more operators working together; they will be looking for a relationship that has achieved together more than each of the partners could have done alone. The entrants need to show how their collaboration has improved service, and especially customer satisfaction.
There are some 18 categories judged by independent panels of experts drawn from the industry. Patrick O'Connell comments; "I am always impressed by the interaction and determination between successful partnerships. This often involves parties who are competitors and therefore have a number of obstacles to overcome in order to make projects work as with last year's winners: United Biscuits Logistics and Nestlé Group Logistics. Business is all about trust and partnership and this award represents companies who have worked together to evolve cost effective solutions for long term growth, whilst ensuring customer service is maintained or enhanced".
