January 2012 - FULDA SALES CONTINUE TO GROW FOR BANDVULC
Bandvulc Group, the leading stockist of the Fulda range of commercial tyres in Great Britain, is welcoming 2012 with open arms as last year saw sales rise by over 30% compared with 2010.
This growth has been the result of extensive marketing and developments by the Bandvulc Group, supported by the extensive Fulda portfolio.
2011 saw Fulda introduce two new products to the market, Fulda EcoForce 2 and EcoControl 2 both focus on cost reduction and lower rolling resistance.
The new tyres, thanks to their operational flexibility and new design features, offer an ideal solution with good overall performance to commercial vehicle operators looking to reduce their operating costs. Respectively for steer and drive axles, the new ranges are for vehicles operating in both long and regional haul service as well as in distribution. The long and regional haul capability gives more operational flexibility.
This new technology has proven to be beneficial to fleet operators in the UK during its launch year of 2011 and this is reflected within Bandvulc sales and forecasting into 2012.

July 2009 - BANDVULC ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH FULDA
The Bandvulc Group has entered into a new arrangement which sees it becoming the leading stockist of the Fulda range of commercial tyres in the Great Britain. Covering sizes from 17.5" to 22.5", Bandvulc will become the wholesaler for the Fulda Truck brand and will distribute alongside its own products and the recently agreed small order Goodyear/Dunlop arrangements.
The Fulda brand is one of the leading European brands and is wholly owned by the Goodyear operation. This agreement gives Bandvulc the opportunity to compete in the new tyre market sector which it has previously been unable to do. It will enable Bandvulc and BTC to compete in both wholesale and regional fleet business with much more confidence. Philip West, Commercial Director, Bandvulc comments: "By having control over distribution of a new tyre brand we will be able to manage policy fitments very effectively and at the same time offer our dealer network a competitively priced tyre product which fits a niche in the market".
